Head of Evaluation, Internal Audit, Auditing of Funds Allocated
After studying Socio-Economics at the University of Kiel she was a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for System Technology and Innovation Research in Karlsruhe as well as at the Universities of Essen and Muenster. In Muenster she also earned her doctorate in economics. She represents the Volkswagen Foundation in the framework of the ‘Netzwerk Wissenschaftsmanagement e.V.’ which has been supported by the Foundation as an institutional member since 2013.
Member of "The International Funding Team". Up to now, Cora Schaffert-Ziegenbalg supervised projects of the funding initiative "Knowledge for Tomorrow – Cooperative Research Projects in Sub-Saharan Africa”. BA in Modern Languages and Intercultural Communication at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg (DK) and University of Salford (UK), MA in European Studies, Leibniz Universität Hannover with research stays in London and Brussels. PhD in Political Science at the graduate college "Global Challenges”, University of Tübingen, afterwards scientific assistant in the office for Technology Transfer, Leibniz Universität Hannover.
