The symposium will be held in the framework of the Foundation's funding initiative "Artificial Intelligence and the Society of the Future". Researchers funded within this initiative will meet in Hanover from November 7 to 8, 2019 to present and discuss their projects.

The kick-off event offers an international platform for an intense and inspiring interdisciplinary exchange concerning Artificial Intelligence and its future impact on society. All grantees of the first call will present their research projects in three thematic sessions. Additionally, a poster session will provide the opportunity to discuss the results in greater detail. Acknowledged external specialists from relevant areas will contribute their expertise on recent developments in their field of research.

The conference will be held at Herrenhausen Palace, a modern conference center in Hanover, Germany. You can reach the venue by subway: Take line 4 or 5 and get off at "Herrenhäuser Gärten".
